Anyone have an opinion on Federal Couragia M/T tires?

Agree with the above. Lots of friends running milestars with great success. Nobody I know has the cougars you mention. Milestars are cheaper too :)

How are they on the road other than loud? I know a lot of mud tires tend to wear really fast on the road, which is kinda what some reviews of the Milestars seem to indicate.
 
I have the mastercraft Courser mxt, very quiet for a mud tire, don't know about the wear yet.
 
Just a side note, I’m a huge fan of STT Pros. I’ve ran them in 33s (JK), 35s (Current TJR) and 37s (JKUR) and over 100k miles between them. Absolutely love them. Decently quiet, do extremely well off road for not being a stick and handle well in all conditions.

I'm basically looking for something that won't wear super fast ON road but is good off, esp in snow bc the snow we get here is really wet and mud tires work well in it.
