I know there are some under the radar soft top companies out there...

Anyone make a vintage type soft door with the lower window that will fit the beloved TJ....

CJ -7 soft doors beat the paint off.

They were the worst part of the whole design.
 
I'm pretty sure nothing exists but it could be easily made by taking a set of the BestTop Softdoors into a marine shop. They could easily add a window to the lower half. Note there are some bars there but the CJ door also had bars there.

does he want a soft door specifically, or just a door with a window in the bottom of it? does it need to be able to accept a soft upper?

might be cheaper to get a set of hard half doors and install a piece of glass in it
 
Full soft with sight though.

The best I've found so far is the marine idea sticking in a new window in the lower half.

I'm going to root in the Jeep building here and see if I can find some old cj7 doors like that and how hard to use/modify those.
