Anyone used the Rugged Ridge CB / FM / AM mount?

Looking the rugged ridge mount to replace original jeep antenna with a 2 ft firestik and install a cb radio. I like this set up because I dont have to add another antenna for cb.

Anyone tried and how was radio reception (cb,fm and am).

Also looking at a ball mount made by hustler but will have to drill on the tub.

Radioheads typically have little good to say about this type of product.

Performance won't be as good as separate antennas for AM/FM and CB. How much not as good is tough to quantify. It may be perfectly adequate for your CB needs but that depends upon what you need and what you expect from your communications gear.

I wouldn't use one, but that is my personal preference. YMMV.
