As shown above, are there different versions of Dana 35 ring and pinions over the years and models, or are they all interchangeable? I'm not talking about brand or quality, just dimensionally. I found a Dana 35 Jeep 4.88 set (unused) for sale, but don't know if they will fit. Stamped D35488 8/39 then a big 85. I searched all around and have looked at great info on determining the right ratio, but nothing on this. Thanks, and apologies if this is a silly question.

There are two different ring gear bolt sizes through the years but other than that they are interchangeable.
