Are Currie tie rods spring loaded?

Can anybody tell me if Currie tie rods are spring loaded? I have one on my drag link that has some vertical play. Is it normal?

If you mean the tie rod ends, yes they are. It is common for the cap to bulge and reduce the preload on the spring when you try to force grease in. If you haven't done that, then you are just seeing wear if it has a flat cap.

Tie rod on the drag link on the left side. Only one that has any give. Trying to correct a death wobble problem.
