Uh, no. TH 400 was designed long before the electronic bullshit. Probably the best automatic transmission ever designed.

If and the C6 are the 2 best autos ever.

Mine has 176000 and runs like a dream.

Even wheels pretty good also.

I would say the 03-06 have some quality issues compared to the 97-02. The bean counters definitely cheaped out on some things.

Wiring harness loom
Engine has head head work done at one point by previous owner
Two opdas
Ac control failure
Pcm
Nsg370 rattling and 1-2 and reverse shifting issue
