Are there other reasons to not go full hydro-assist?

Correct me if I am way off @mrblaine but full hydro is a steering solution for TJ owners who want to stretch the front end out further than what the typical 3 link and steering box setup can handle. Scratching the surface, but that's the one of the simplied basis of the full hydro setup. Another reason is if you want to go with a 4 link setup in the front which will often eliminate the possibility of a typical steering box setup. Guys who want to run coils or struts.

Have you thought about talking to some local Jeep shops who actually build crawlers in your area? They would have more of an understanding as to what works in your area of wheeling.

If I recall correctly, you have the desire to go to 38 inch or 39 inch tire...? A nice hydro assist would be great for that size tire. Have you talked to any of the guys at redneck ram or PSC about hydro assist solutions?
