The electrolytes are good for the fish and electric eels. That's why I toss all my old car batteries in the Ocean when done with them.I'll second this. Lead acid batteries have liquid electrolyte in them. You may be ok, right now, but as that battery heats up and gets used (think winching) the fluid is going to expand. They call that a boil out...because you're at an angle, it will take less expansion than normal to flood. You don't want that...You think salt is corrosive? wait until you spill a bunch of sulfuric acid all over your frame

. It's alright though I tend to do everything multiple times anyways. Hell, once I jump to a Highline I'll likely be cutting out the front shocks to raise them.
Now to get the Savvy sliders on. Body match the backing plate and paint the slider silver to match the fenders.

Wired the little 2 wire 3/4ā lights on the fenders so that they can be used as running lights and turn signals with some resistors and diodes using this schematic.
Just seeing how the raw aluminum is going to look. I really like it. I think Iām going to use a scotchbrite and wd40 to ābrushā the sliders and corners so that they match the genright fenders with the more dull, lighter, brushed look. Iāll probably use a block with the scotchbrite and clamp a 2X4 on the armor to use as a jig and go forward strokes only. That seems to give a pretty great finish.
