Not really trying to say I’m a great driver. Just sharing it as a proud accomplishment of mine as someone who is still relatively new and learning to wheel the real hard stuff.
I’ve gotta say, I am really impressed with the super 35 right now. I’ve done a lot of climbing with it but I got pretty bound up in one instance this past weekend and had to give it more skinny pedal than I am typically comfortable with and everything held solid. This obstacle was two vertical slabs of rock making a wedge you climb up through. Once the passenger rear gets up in there it was getting pretty bound up.
Another unfortunate back story of this obstacle…. I knew this was an easy trail and I was bringing my wife with so I put on the half doors and soft uppers on so the drive there would be more pleasant. On the trail I saw this totally optional obstacle off to the side of the trail and of course had to climb it. Forgetting I had doors on… I typically never use doors on the trail and don’t have to worry much about putting the side of the jeep into a rock since the whole Side of the jeep is armored. Totally didn’t cross my mind I had doors on.
Sad to say the passenger door took a little beating as well as the door surround which snapped in half. I was able to push the big dent out from the inside but still took a little beating. On the bright side the savvy rails do an outstanding job of protecting the soft top channel.

Woah that’s a good one! Mine got crushed when I tried to pull my door surround back into place. Door surround went back into place and clamped my finger inside the crack.
Got a couple on Craigslist just in case.

Your build thread is a great read. One that shows just how far you can go, in a short time, if you're willing to learn, experiment, and adjust! 
Yeah, Garrett is very smart with this stuff. He's got a passion and invested the time to figure it out over a very short period of time. Cool to watch. I'll never get there. I have too many kids and too much going on. I just got a welder!Your build thread is a great read. I noticed one can get a lot done themself buy having the welding skill.

For perspective on Garrett. He and I did our Savvy TT at the same time, discussing back in forth on the phone various issues, mainly the stupid Speedo from JB. Then he went hog wild into welding, relocating brackets, figuring out anti-squat, armoring to high heaven, and beating his rig on those fine AZ rocks which I wish were around my parts.
Buy is accurate, cause you now need a table, plasma, multiple grinders ... and the list keeps growing.Is this a pun?

Finnegan jumped deep down that rabbit hole. Now he made a bigger,better welding table.
