Committed to going to Moab! Wish I had more time to prepare but without having to train for vault now I should have enough time to finish the rig by next weekend.
The only big thing I’m still waiting to do is Dave Ks geometry correction. The brackets will get here later this week so it shouldn’t be a problem to get those on before the trip. I’m excited to try them. For $160 it seems like a pretty high return for the dollar until I feel like pulling the trigger on a full blown midarm. Even then I may just midarm the front if I like the geo correction enough. The main aspect I’m looking to improve with them is the rear hopping on steep climbs.
Other than that I would like to do some small maintenance tasks and if I have time, clean up some aesthetic details that got out on the back burner.

Rear geo and front mid is my strategy. Same goal, improve traction by getting closer to or even below the anti squat line to eliminate hop. A little squat will actually improve rear bite.
Fortunately, I don't have most of the other known traits of higher lifts on the TJ like lifting the tire while cornering, etc.

I have to say man, after seeing the fenders in person I really want highline fenders now. It's just for the looks obviously, but I really love the way it turned out!

It's the way the TJ should have come from the factory. The lines are correct. They realized this and corrected it with the JK.
Oh yeah, they look phenomenal. I realize I'd have nothing to gain from going with them, but they look right at home on a TJ. I thought they'd look silly due to 35s, but I think they actually look just fine with 35s.

If you're going to go to that much trouble, you might as well cut the hood and relocate a few things. The cost up front is basically the same
