Atlas 2 transfer case clearance

Installing an Atlas 2. I have read that the floorboard needs to be modified and sometimes the skid plate depending on your setup. How much clearance do you want around the transfer case when finished? I know the driveline moves, but how much?

We shoot for 1/4" clear.

Thanks. That is less than I expected.

You say that now, at some point you will wish it was less.

Thanks again @mrblaine, I was able to get it in and have nearly 1/2" clearance at the tightest points. I was originally shooting for a full inch so 1/4" sounded pretty doable.
