Just looking up prices of TJ exports to Australia when they were new.
1997 TJ Sport soft top $31,990 au and they stayed constant price with 2005 Golden Eagle soft top also at $ 31,990 au but then the 2006 dual top 65th Anniversary was only $29,950 au! So 9 years later the TJ was $2000 au cheaper, this may explain why there are so many 2006 65ths in Australia?
The Renegades (Sahara's) from 1998 were $37,990au! but the 2003 was $43,990 then became the same price as the sport in 2004 $ 31,950 au This may also explain why there are so many 2004 Renegades over sports?
The 2003 Renegade was $13,000 au more expensive than a 2006 65th with a similar interior and not as different as the earlier Renegades which all had the green seats and tan interior.
