Does anyone know if the AX-5 and AX-15 use the same shifter assembly? I've got a B&M short shifter and I'm starting to hate it and I want to switch back to the stock unit, but I'm finding mostly AX-5 shifters. from pictures on the interwebs, they look the same but i was wondering if someone with more experience on here knew for sure.

They don't really, however I know for sure when AX5 owners do the Advance Adapters AX15 swap, they reuse their own shifter on the AX15 but they have to flip the shift tower around 180 degrees and use a big spacer underneath the shift tower to make it work. So I guess you could if you wanted to do that and buy the AA stuff, but you're better off just keeping on searching for the proper part from a 97-99 AX15.
Edit: I think the stick itself works in both, but it's the shift tower that really matters. So you should be able to use one of the sticks from any 97-99 4.0 or 97-02 2.5, but will still need to find the tower for an AX15, which from what I'm seeing on eBay there are plenty of.
