Hi guys and girls. I have a quick question. Will a B&M sport shifter for an AX 15 fit on an AX 5 gear box? I can’t find a sport shifter listed for AX5.

I'm not sure the sport shifter will even fit in an AX5. They are two quit different transmissions. Never heard of it being done.
With 156000 miles on the shifter, it’s a lil sloppy. I’m looking for an up grade and I liked the idea of a short throw. Is there any “performance” shifters out there for the AX5.
Doesn't seem like 'performance' and 'AX5' can be used in the same sentence...
I installed this about 4 years ago and went from rowing a boat to shifting a transmission.

It could be that the little plastic/nylon bushing at the bottom of the stick is worn out.
But I can understand the need/want to have a short-throw shifter because I have a B&M shifter on my '03 w/NV3550.
Oh and one more thing, in my case, I had to transfer that bushing from the old shifter to the new shifter.
