just got a tj had a built xj till it caught fire. so what axails will swap into a tj ? I know the dana 30 and 35 are not that strong. I put a 8.25 in my xj. looking for direct swap

A Dana 30 axle (not axial) is fine up front for up to 35" tires. The only direct bolt-in swap for the rear is a Dana 44 out of another TJ.
