Backup light switch replacement 05 TJ I6

I know and heard that this a simply 10 min. fix and I have done much bigger projects than this but I simply cannot find this sucker to replace on the transmission. 2005 I6. Anyone able to take a better location picture? Do I need to take the transmission plate off to get to it?

I think it's the small, black housing just under the shift tower in the picture. That'd put it driver's side at the top and near the output.

Thank you. I must be blind ...but it is pretty dirty under there.

The picture has much better lighting. I have an '03 with the NV3550, so the switch on mine is lower. With it that high up, it might be easier to remove the console and access it from the top.
