Bedliner VS Paint?

So a few years ago, I had my bumper, rock sliders and corner armor powder coated.
Around the bolt holes, it had started to rust.

It's not a whole lot, but it's enough to want me to get it fixed.

Since it powder coated, I don't THINK I can just rattle can it.

So, should I just have them powder coated again? Or, should I look into having them sprayed with a bedliner?

Scuff them up, clean them and squirt some bedliner coating on them. I like the Rustoleum truck bed coating best. Has a nice consistent pattern, and seems pretty tough for a spray bomb.

Hmm I can try that.

Although I wonder if I can scruff the sliders and corner guards without taking them off the jeep? Maybe just paint over the bolt heads....

im sure you could leave them on but then you run the risk of getting the liner on unwanted places unless you take the time to cover the parts you dont want the liner on. also the possibility of scuffing the actual paint by mistake

The proper way to do it would be to strip them down, treat the rust, and have them re-powdercoated. However, in your situation I would probably remove all the rust with a wire wheel on a dremel tool. Then I would treat the rust areas with something like POR15 and spray paint over it (assume they're just small areas).
