Hello, long time reader and first time poster. I have what I think a weird issue. I recently service my transmission with fresh ATF+4 and filter as usual. When done, started engine, checked fluid and even went around the block to make sure it was all good.
The next morning I headed to work when after 1/4 mile I smelled fluid and tranny went into neutral mode, most of the fluid had leaked on the street. When I looked underneath thinking maybe the RTV didn't seat properly I discovered the fluid coming out of a hole in the tranny.
I had never noticed it before and I though maybe a hose went off, but no. All hoses and clamps were nice and tight and there was no leak on the pan. It was all pouring out of this hole. Please help

Looks like you somehow lost the plug that goes there

I'm not sure what it's called, so maybe someone else can chime in. I'm also betting a local transmission shop can help.
