Bleeding a master cylinder

I've seen couple of videos & read our how-to, they all bleed the m/c one port at a time. I bled the m/c on my CJ (a couple times, don't ask) and I did both ports at the same time. I have a bench bleed kit but I don't have any "plugs" to block off one port or the other. So I guess my question is why do you need to do the ports one at a time? Can I do them at the same time?

The answer is you can totes bleed both ports at the same time. I wouldn’t have taken all that long, except that I wasn’t quite tight enough on the fittings and apparently was sucking more air in on each stroke. Once I corrected that it was smooth sailing.

Got it on the jeep, everything seems to be holding pressure, including my DIY bends & flares.

ps my m/c did come with plugs
