I really don't know if I replaced OEM or not, but I assumed they used metal, which to me was typical in the late 90s. My 2000s 3/4 ton truck is plastic.

My understanding is that Magneti-Marelli now supply the OEM parts for Mopar or something like that. As long as its OEM quality i should be ok.
It appears to be for a Jeep Commander not a Wrangler...... More research shows it is for a Wrangler.
You might have found a great deal on an OEM radiator. I hope so.

Well you get what you pay for. I put in an aluminum Champion radiator in my stroker wrangler 10 years ago, no leaks...
Interesting that 2000 - 2002 aren't included in the "what this fits" list.
Also, i believe there are different radiator part numbers for the earlier vs later wranglers. Here they have one party number for 97-06, save for 00-02.
Order one and report back with some pics.

Kidding of course. But it's like I always tell people: Buy the AutoZone radiator with a lifetime warranty for $150 and be prepared to replace it every 3 years. Sure, it will be free, but do you really want to have to replace the radiator every 3 years when you could buy a Mopar radiator for $250 (give or take) and have it last over 10 years?
For certain easy to replace parts, it's not a big deal. But changing a radiator is never fun. The coolant always makes such a mess.
So I will get 3 new radiators for about half of what Mopar charges? What is not to love about that deal? hahahaha

You can keep the OEM crappy plastic radiators, I will go with the copper brass, that is a 30 year radiator..

Oh yeah man, the OE radiators are such garbage right? I mean 10+ years of life and well over 100k miles (usually closer to 200k). Sounds like complete garbage to me

I have 3 vehicles with copper brass radiators, one is 60 years old and doesnt leak, another one was from an 84 CJ that I put in a YJ, then it went into a TJ with about 400K miles on that radiator, the YJ and TJ's plastic tanks leaked...Yeah, so crappy right? Because they last 10+ years and well over 100k miles. What a piece of crap that thing must be, huh?

Eh....$30 shipping puts it within $20 bucks of Amazon where I KNOW they will stand behind it and let me return it if for some reason there was a need
