Hello all. Just joined the forum. So I’m about to remove the 3 inch body lift on a new to me 97 TJ. This is my first one and I’ve mostly been in the Xj world for the past several years so it’s a learning curve. Anyway my question is there some kind of shifter extension I need to remove? I’ve found the t case linkage as well as the filler neck and the steering bracket but the transmission is the one spot I can’t figure out. I looked around the forum and couldn’t find anything. Excited to be part of the TJ club now!
Body lift removal question

3" BODY lift? Are you sure? If so, then the trans shifter has probably had either a short throw shifter installed or the body metal has been opened up to create clearance. There isn't much else to be done there that I know of.
