I'm repairing a customer's frame and want to lift the body off to allow better access and lessen the possibility of collateral damage from the plasma cutter and welder, how far can I seperate the two before things start binding? I'm concerned about fuel and brake lines, wire harnesses, etc.

Are all the body mount off? once you remove the plate around the shifter inside the tube, and the disconnect the fuel housing from the tube, you should be able to lift it up quick a bit. how far up did you want to go?
