Day 1 Leadville area waiting on our campsite to open up. Easy day to make sure everything was functional :) .. Birdseye Gulch to mosquito pass, then took browns pass to breakneck pass and back to Leadville over Weston. Real cloudy so the views were less than stellar but jeep ran great and family had a blast!

Alright, so service was crap at the campground so I couldn't update as we went.. but that was nice because it kept the boys off their devices for a week..

Day: 2 Travel to campground, setup camp. Then we ran tincup pass, napoleon pass, and hancock pass in a loop.

Day 4: first day of sunshine for the whole trip 😀 wife wanted good pictures so we decided to run Mt Princeton first then fed the squirrels at St Elmo by my youngest request 😄 we followed squirrel feeding by a trip up Mary Murphy mine / Pomeroy Lake.

Great trip all in all.. jeep performed pretty good, only breakage was shock bolts that were easily repaired. A few things annoyed me with it but ill leave that for another thread.. upgrades for next yr..

The rain that this portion of Colorado has been receiving is tearing the trails up.. washouts are terrible right now.. we saw 2 rolled 4 wheelers (one on mosquito and one on napoleon) and received word of a TJ rollover on grizzly lake. We chose not to run Williams pass due to the wet conditions. Anyway, just info for anyone planning to head to this area in the coming weeks.
