Brake issue / bleeding?

LOL shoes are too small. I’ll eventually get larger winters but until then I don’t want to get a ticket and they write them often.

Are the calipers installed right side up? Meaning is the bleed valve on the top?

In other words it sounds like you have the brake calipers mounted on the wrong sides. When they're on the wrong side the bleeder valve ends up under the brake line which makes it impossible to bleed all the air out. It happens all the time since they bolt up either way.

You just saved me another day of madness. I too rebuilt the brake system on my 97 TJ as Chris described, over the last week installed new lines and calipers. I'm going out now to switch the calipers to correct sides, lol.

Getting the calipers reversed is easy to do if you're not looking for the bleeder to end up so it's above the brake line, it happens all the time.
