Sorry, I shouldn't have said FWD. I meant FRONT wheel drive. If something blew up in the rear axle.

I know you did, I meant front wheel drive too.

Oh, yeah, you did. Oops. I would just assume, though, that if I were in a spot that I blew up my rear, I'd need a beefed up front to get out safely. But yeah, once on the street, in "mall crawler mode", it wouldn't matter.

So, I think manual hubs would be cool.

Dana 30, alloy shafts, and 35s. It's not Johnson Valley but these are 7-9 rated trails in CO. I think Control arm skids and a heavy duty diff cover certainly help too.
