My lit Green Dawg couldn't muster enough to help me remove some bushes yesterday.

A valiant, stout-hearted effort though.

That is a fact. Some didn't budge. But at least I know my 4xlow works well. It did it's share of digging for traction.

Did you try pulling from the side, instead of up? That way you would have only been fighting half the roots.

Yes and was unsuccessful. That is what tempted me to try pulling them out with the Green Dawg.
They have been in the ground for 20+ years so they have had time to develop a very good root system.
Looks like a mini-excavator is in my near future. ha.ha.

Pulled out some 40yr old bushes with my winch a few years back. Had the same setup (running over a wheel) as you. Did you presoak the area?
