Carfax reports can be flawed, inaccurate and misleading. But most of the time that’s not the case and you’ll get information that will help you decide what vehicles to eliminate and which ones to keep on the list.
A Carfax report can’t tell you if a Jeep has been abused, has a crap lift installed or frame rot. It’s not meant to. If you can’t detect those things on your own or bring it to someone who can you do not benefit or lose by having a Carfax report.
All things being equal someone is better (or equally at worst) equipped to shop with a Carfax report than without one.
