Can I install adjustable control arms before installing a SYE?

Morning y’all,

Quick question, can I install adjustable control arms before installing a SYE to see if I can eliminate driveline vibrations?

I can add pics if it helps.
This was all done by PO.

And yes, you can install adjustable control arms before the SYE. It just won't do any good unless you have bad control arms.
 
I just want to see pictures of how big this transfer case drop is ;)

Installing a lift will change the pinion angle out of specs and will need to be re-adjusted. Here is a good representation of how your pinion angle should be depending on if you have a SYE (C-V joint) or not. We have a similar lift on our '04 TJ with no SYE. We had to get adjustable UCA's to get the pinion angle adjusted properly to eliminate the drive-line vibration that we had. Once adjusted, the vibration disappeared. If it doesn't work, then you will need to check other portions of the drive-train for wear. The angles shown below would change depending on the size of the lift. The take-away is that without a SYE, the output shaft and the input shaft for the diff need to be parallel. With a SYE, the driveshaft needs to go straight into the diff input shaft with no angle. Until you get the SYE, you should also have a transfer case drop to help reduce the angle.

Fuzzy, you have more or less the exact same RC lift kit the PO of my Jeep installed. I'm slowly but surely undoing it all except the springs. Do you have a manual? If so, do you have console issues like the shifter knocking drinks out of the cupholder? That's why I'm going with the SYE/DCDS/ACA

You definitely need to extend your front brake lines, those are pretty close to max length just sitting there.
