A Truetrac would be the ideal upgrade for those conditions. Just make sure to limit your tire size to 33".

Trutracs are great for a lot of applications. If you have any plans to regear, I'd do both at the same time. Consider getting some better rear axles shafts, like Revolution Gear 1541H axle shafts for piece of mind.
I added f/r Detroit TT's when I regearded mine to 4.10 and added the rear axles shaft. The axle shafts are optional, but they are stronger than stock. In just snow, it probably isn't needed.
