IMHO, the cost effective way is a really good wash, clay bar, then use two coats of wax. Wash and wax once a month after that. Other than that, a full car cover while you are out and about and a garage while at the house.
I have a Rain Gear cab cover to keep the weather out when parked outside in summer mode. But I throw a cheapo Amazon full cover over that to keep the pollen and whatnot off of my TJ when parked in the driveway.

Thx. That’s what I’m looking for. Love the the Rain Gear for rain but need sun and pollen protection.

But mine has orange racing stripes which I’m sure add to the UV protection.

I have a single cap pickup truck, if I turn my form fitting truck cover around backwards, the cab notch fits the front windshield perfectly on the Jeep. lol, so ghetto I know, but it works.

I got this for my LJ. So far it seems to work well. It’s a little tight since it’s not for the LJ but it works.

What's sad is I had it all cleaned out and now it's half full of my daughters furniture and stuff.
They are slowly moving stuff out, to slow for me.

Still think you should do something to protect the paint.
Wash, Iron X, wash, clay bar or mitt, polish, cerakote. Repeat every six months to year.
Yup, I wash / wax / 303, etc regularly, but needed something to keep the sun off, especially since I work from home and it gets full sun all day in the summer.
