Rare 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda Is One Tiny Feature Away From Classic Car Perfection.
When it comes to SCCA Trans-Am homologation specials from the golden muscle car era, the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and Ford Mustang Boss 302 often come to mind. However, Chrysler also made notable contributions with the Dodge Challenger T/A and Plymouth AAR Cuda, introduced in 1970. Despite their lack of racing success, these models became iconic.
This 1970 Cuda is highly original but hides one tiny secret under the hood. While the four-speed gearbox is numbers-matching, the 340 V8 isn't. But it's a warranty replacement block, so it's pretty much the next best thing. The rear end was also changed to a 3:55 ratio, but the original 3:91 unit is included with the car.

58 Chevy driven by Ron Howard in American Graffiti

'After being used in the film, Mike Famalette, only 17 at the time, purchased the car directly from Lucas Films for $285 in 1972. Famalette held onto the car from that time until 2015 when (Ray) Evernham acquired it.' https://www.tomorrowstechnician.com/ride-week.../....

A W- motor is a great choice , especially if he's building an early 60's style Rod !

My buddy runs a street rod shop about fifteen minutes north of me, and he has a root beer brown Model A 2-door sedan that's been running a 348 W-motor for around fifty years. Gorgeous engines.

The Devaux, a French styled Car made in Australia.

The company started out in 2001 building their first production car, the ‘Coupe’. Named after the company’s founder’s mother’s maiden name (French ancestors) and inspired by the cars from the 1930’s, it beautifully reflects the extreme French curves of the era done by the coach builders from France and other cars from the same era such as the Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic, the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Lungo and the Bentley 41.4 litre Streamline. From the narrow front grille, the swooping front fender, the long bonnet, the big round externally mounted headlights and the narrow pram wheels with multi wire spoke rims, it very much looks like a French car from the 30’s.
The Devaux has two options for the power units under bonnet. Either an inline-6 featured in the Jaguar XJR or an LS1 5.7L N/A V8 with 361 bhp and 470 Nm of torque.

What a thing of beauty. Hopefully it doesn't have screens in it. Our OverLords would never allow something like this for us plebs.
