A Hurst is in my best friend's Cobra with about 18,000 miles on it.
It sat neglected all of our childhood...after my best friend's mom died in second grade and his jealous stepmom hated her memory and that car.
He finally got it down to him in Florida in the last couple of years (he's retired Navy SAR still working on base). I'm so thankful he's got it with him because the sentimental value is difficult to put into words.
The 429 Cobra Jet engine requires 100 octane and flat-out rumbles

It looks like the shifter isn't the only Hurst product on that car. Those wheels would appear to be Hurst mags, as well.

That's a beautiful truck. Stock or mild custom, they look great to me.
Split window, so I know it's a pre '53, but what's that little intake looking thing on the front fender?
