Car pics too cool not to share

To preface the following video:
  • I've been enjoying car reviews by Chris Harris for quite a long time now, he's a very good driver and I like the way he presents and talks about cars (this isn't a typical review of his)
  • I have no issue with nor any particular attachment to the Porsche brand
  • It is likely well know that I am not a fan of new vehicles, I don't care for the over-complication and computerization of them and many look like shit, however...
The new 992.2 GT3 Touring featured in this clip gave me a bit of a chubber at first sight...damn good looking car and the color....feck me... 🤪

I prefer the GT3 to the GT3 touring but if you’re buying for me either will do.

Channeling my inner Squatch , what about the 2 dr. Ford wagon ! ( fair notice I don't know Ford Wagons )

'55 or '56 with radiused wheel wells. Don't know if it's because the car was rodded, or if it was easier to deal with the rust by just cutting it all away like that. Either way, I'll take it! ;)

*There does seem to be a nice rolled lip to the radius, so I'm going to go with someone customized it at some point.

I get where you're coming from, but at this point I'm pretty sure I'm well past mid-life...and I really don't want to have to explain the carbon fiber scaffolding taking up the rear seat area. ;)

As for the Crosley...

But, when I hear "Crosley", I actually think Crossle...the Irish manufacturer of various sports racers and formula cars.

needs more hood

....and less plumbing. Looks like impressive workmanship but there's "too much shit not under the hood". Personally, I think it's cool but would be cooler if the powerplant fit under the factory hood.

I've watched this guy run some fast cars around Nürburgring, now he's slingign a big Caddy around.

:D That Coupe DeVille looks to be in great condition.

How would you like to be driving on a race track and get passed by that big bastard.

...and that was an e90 as well. Imagine that driver had a WTF moment when he saw that land yacht roll up on him in his rear view and sail on by.

He mentioned taking a '69 Ranchero around the day before. Not a particular fan of that year, but I've recently found myself enamored by the '64-'67 Ranchero after coming across this on online...

...and seeing one on CL that has since sold...but this one was just listed (which I'd quite like to have)...

But she will think the Crosley is cuter , so how do you feel about Crosleys ? It's your only chance man.

Crosley's are cool in their own right. So, are you familiar at all with their engine construction? I remember reading about 'em some twenty years ago, and it always struck me as almost comical (which seems so appropriate to the rest of the car). Here's an article that gives more detail than I care to get into, if'n you're curious.

A great read Thanks! I guess I've only seen the Cast version in real life.

Bitch slapped by 472 c.i.d V - 8 made of cast iron .

Indeed, though I would strongly suggest the e90 wasn't necessarily "on it". I'm a big fan of the Caddy (love late '60s to early '70s Coupes) and maybe not as much the e90 (I owned one, there were issues :D), but in a true head to head, all of my money would be on the German....sorry to say.
