Car shopping

Just remember... most CR-V owners trade up to a JKU or a JLU. At least that's what I find!
Ha. Tell my wife that. She wants to trade her CRV in on a mini van. Something about needing more room for children??? :p

Ahhh... we just sold our Outback for a Honda Odyssey for the same reason. More room for children! ;)

My wife and I did the Home Depot 0% interest for 24 months when we did a major remodel on our barn. Changed it from a horse barn to bar and Game room. Worked great! I don't think you have to wait for them to run a special, just ask them for the 24 month with 0% interest. You just can't be late on any of the payments or you'll have to pay their interest rate. Like Starrs said, just be sure to pay it off before the dead line or you'll have to pay all that interest. And the last payment will be a little different then all the other payments, like two weeks earlier then all the other ones so pay close attention to the very last one....They change that one, hoping you won't notice so they get you and then you have to pay all that interest. Other then that, it was great!! Use their money to remodel interest FREE! :)
Tricky lil' buggers, aren't they? I'm going to check into this, me thinks. I like the sound of 0%. I'm really good about early pay-offs, so their weird schedule for that last payment wouldn't likely be an issue. However, I greatly appreciate the heads-up on that, as I've never even heard of such a thing. That could easily bite someone right in the arse if they were unaware of it.

those 0% deals bank on you missing just one payment, usually the full boat of interest get put on all the way back to the original note date at a very high rate. Best way to handle it is to have your checking account on auto pay every month online.

Yes they are. Never missed a payment and paid it off a month early. Great way to do home improvements. :-)
