2004 non-Rubicon LJ.
Getting close to having this thing ready for the road. It has a Currie 3” Lift, a 1.25” body lift, a UCF Tummy Tuck, Savvy Double Adjustable Control Arms and 33s. I did the best driveway alignment I could before I run it over to the local off-road shop for an alignment. I do have a concern however. When setting the pinion angle pretty much exactly the same as the driveshaft angle, I come up with approximately 10 degrees. Based on what I’ve read, the pinion angle minus 12 degrees is the approximate caster. That would make the caster 2 degrees which is clearly not enough.
I guess the question is how much pinion angle can I sacrifice in the name of caster? Is a 1 degree difference between pinion and the driveshaft too much? 2 degrees? I really want this thing ultra-stable because I flat tow it behind my RV quite frequently.
