You're welcome! This is actually a pretty good mount for a CB. It is out of the way, and you can mount other stuff off of the mounting bar if you want. I like it.
Hahaha...a side view would have worked, but thank you! Still trying to decide where to mount one.
Routing the wires is interesting. As noted, I had to go back under the sport bar padding and foreward again with the speaker wires for the sound bar. I really, really thought that the power and ground wires would fit under the trim piece, but no go. It's just to tight. It's a clean install, but there is about ten feet of extra wire to deal with the way I did it. The antenna wire went up the windshield frame and over with no problems and doesn't look horrible. Get some of those stick on wire tie pads, they work well and look half way decent. I'll grab some photos, if anyone is interested.I cheated a little...Would have MUCH rather had it overhead, but I got lazy with routing the wires.

Thanks for all the pictures. Extremely helpful. Do you mind me asking where you've grounded the antenna (i.e. where did the other end of the braided ground strap terminate?)More...

There you go!
Thank you for the reply. Very helpful. The antenna ground goes to a rear seat mount bolt. It's a pretty bad setup, but the radio tuned and works just fine. I used some large guage monster speaker wire as a ground strap. Again, not ideal but again it works for the time being.
@JimT , I can't speak to the wires rattling...mine very well may, but I can't hear them if they do with everything else going on.I have mounted my CB on an Arizona Rocky Road mounting bar. I noticed that the wires in the mounting bar rattle. Am I the only one with this problem or did I miss a step? My wife told me to turn the stereo up.
