It leaves 4 mounts in the rear and 3 in the front under the grill. If you can't prove that removing 2 is wrong, how's removing 6 wrong?

I was actually thinking about making my own higher clearance mount or just cutting it off altogether. Wanted to see if anyone had any experience with deleting all together. Didn't know that GR or anyone else already made higher clearance mounts so I will look at those (sometimes it is easier to buy pre-fabbed, sometimes not). Thanks.

I'm adding the same mounts to mine. If you want to get really fancy you could also raise the rear section of the frame like jjvw did in his thread. It would further increase your breakover angle and looks great also.

Don't let the others scare you off. They are just poking fun and will likely be the first people to help if you run into trouble installing the raised mounts.
