Loaner chains fell between huge tire lugs and were only 50% effective. Got new chains w/cross link and now they ride out of lugs.
Chains on Goodyear MT/R tires not effective

I've never actually had to use chains with the TJ, even in crazy snow. I am running AT tires though as oppose to MTs.
Apparently there are companies that make chains for 35” tires and larger.
Peerless seems to have a good selection.
Tirechain.com carries a bunch of them. Oddly they list them for 35x12.5R17 but not 35x12.5R15.
I might pick up a set once I get new tires. I’ve used them plenty of times on a 2wd and they make a huge difference. Even better than studded winter tires. And they help you stop, not just go.

The only thing I put chains on is my Garden Tractor! They are not legal on the street here in Mi.
