Changing Pickup Trucks - UPDATE - CHANGED pickup Trucks

Ugh....I HATE car dealers...They pray on the uniformed. They throw around monthly payment, but don't list the interest rate. I just got some numbers from a lot and they are anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the interest rate I can get from my bank! Its not listed there though, so I had to backward calculate it in Excel. Asshats....

So...My F150 is GONE. I'm driving this right now. Dealership gave me an extended Test drive. Its a used Z71, but calling it used is tough. Its an 18 with less than 10,000 miles on it. Nice ride. Lots of room, which is what I'm concerned about with the Tacoma. I have to have the seat ALL the way back in the Taco (I'm 6'2")...which means the rear seat doesn't fold down. Important because I have dogs that gotta ride back there. The dealer's starting price is pretty good on this one too...I'm tempted to pull the trigger. Needs a leveling kit though...that's one thing I can't stand about the Colorado is the factory rake!

If you are tall you may want to do an extended test ride . I am 6’4” and long in the torso and I sold my Taco due to the terrible seats . However you can’t beat Toyota for durability, my Tundra has 170k and all that has broken is tailgate handle and the remote. Those Colorados are nice that is actually what my friend I got the Jeep from bought .

Me Too!! I love throwing them for a loop when they ask what I want the payment to be and I say just tell me the damn price for the entire car.

Thanks... I'm 6'2" and the taco didn't really fit me either. Focusing on a Colorado now.

Just to close this one out. I bought a Chevy Colorado ZR2 last night. I really wanted to like the Toyota, but it just didn't fit me, and honestly, felt gutless. The Colorado fits me better, and I don't feel like towing more than a radio flyer will challenge it up a hill. Best part? Less that 6000 miles, but 10k off MSRP. Some pictures

Oh yeah... Did I mention the front and rear electric lockers? Between this thing and the Rubicon, I'll be unstoppable this winter!

Black bow tie package too! Nice. I feel like you could level the front and get a small 33” in there no problem. Not sure why they didn’t at least put 32s on those. Save up for the AEV bison package now. I love it. Very good buy!

Yeah, black Bowie, premium interior (with the LED lights), GM aftermarket bed rails, and the Bose stereo/nav combo
