Check engine light no codes

I drove my 2004 Jeep 2.4 all over the place today like always no issues. Then I stopped for a minute to talk to my brother in-law, I started the Jeep up the check engine light comes on.

I shut it off, start it again light comes on beeps a few times. I have my handy dandy code reader in the Jeep hook it up no codes?

I look at the oil pressure gauge its not reading. I haven't tried to see what is going on because it feels like 40 below outside in Maine.

When it warms up I'll look but since I'm not getting any codes do you think the wire came off? I know I'm asking for brain surgery over the internet.

If its very cold sometimes check engine will light up on mine but when heated it will go off. I dont know if by 40 you meant minuse -40c but it would happen at -25c temps.

Oil pressure sending units are known to go bad on 03-04. I would check connection first thought.

I had to go next door to cold to walk, so I fired up the Jeep, no check engine light, and the oil pressure gauge is working. So I'm guessing a loose wire, I check when its warmer out.

If it's under 45 degrees when I go to work in the morning my commuter car will often have an airbag light on. No code stored. I'm thinking about removing the bulb.

I guess 10 months a year I would see the airbag light. My Dad had a 3/4 ton Chevy that the airbag light stayed on, he "Fixed" it by putting electrical tape over it.

On my 4.0L 2001, when the oil pressure goes to zero, the "Check Gauges " lights up, the check engine light does not.
