Chirp when turning left or right

I’m not worried about the brakes coming off etc as I just replaced all of that hardware last year. The 3 ( I believe) 12 point nuts that hold the unit on are GONE! That my first obstacle.
The 2nd is the actual u -joint and yoke and getting them out because they are so so rusted

Good luck. I used to do all the work on my Jeeps and then moved to a Condo in Charlottesville Va less than 2 years ago. I have to pay people to do stuff now. HOA says NO to anything. You would think $1300 monthly rent would be enough.

Yeah you’d think that would allow you to do some work in your rigs! Sorry to hear that. I’m in Maryland so not too far my friend

Replace both axle shaft u-joints with a Spicer 5-760x which is a significantly stronger and more durable direct replacement for the Spicer the factory installed. No store brands.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but yes Spicer 5-760x u-joints are entirely appropriate and a good direct replacement upgrade for the TJ's front Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles.

Thank you Jerry. There are 2 kinds on Amazon. One seems to have issues with fitment and one does not. Guess I’ll find out. Both are the 5-760X

A Spicer 5-760x doesn't have different models or variations to it. If it's a Spicer 5-760x it'll fit the TJ's front Dana 30 or Dana 44 for anyone who knows how to replace an axleshaft u-joint.
