Definitely a chirping noise when turning either direction. Lifted up both driver and passenger sides individually, checked for play in the wheel front to back and it’s solid.
While each individual wheel was up I spun them both, no noises at all.

Any thoughts?

Thank you guys.

Replace both axle shaft u-joints with a Spicer 5-760x which is a significantly stronger and more durable direct replacement for the Spicer the factory installed. No store brands.

Thank you for the product tip Jerry!
I’ll definitely do that. I’ve never done this repair so we shall see how it goes.
That U Joint will fit my 2000 TJ?

Things will go much easier if you don't have the typical DC rust issues. My TJ spent all but 2 years of it's life in Texas. The 2 years in DC caused slight rust issues.

I’m not worried about the brakes coming off etc as I just replaced all of that hardware last year. The 3 ( I believe) 12 point nuts that hold the unit on are GONE! That my first obstacle.
The 2nd is the actual u -joint and yoke and getting them out because they are so so rusted
