Hi sorry I know there are like a million threads on clicking noises but I can’t really find one that sounds like mine.
Had 3 or 4 JKs that were leases & recently bought a ‘98 TJ with ~ 77k miles on it from a classic car dealer in PA. Had some trouble starting it up initially but turned out to be a loose battery cable, no biggie. I’ve noticed a clicking/buzzing sound mainly when the car is idle. It will start as I slow down/brake and is at its loudest when I am holding down the brake. Don’t hear it once I’m accelerating/coasting nor do I hear it when the car is on & in park, only once it’s in gear. Just want to make sure it’s not a major point of concern. Thanks!!
