I know this is going to be hard to identify and it could be a whole lot of things but my 2000 Wrangler has developed a clicking noise when it is moving. Like I said I know it could be a lot of things, I replaced the U-joints in it about a year ago so I know that it can’t be a U-joint. Anyone else have any ideas what it could be?

You need to narrow down the area the noise is coming from first....
Check your brakes, hub bearings, or possibly the transfer case chain.
The U joints were replaced.... which ones ?
Driveshafts or front axles ?

They were the driveshaft U-joints and I replaced them with Spicer U-joints because I heard they were the best ones. I have to be going over about 10 mph to hear it

Put it in 4WD and noise seemed a little louder but maybe I was listening too close but when I turned the noise persisted, any thoughts?

ok, I watched a video how to change out an axle u-joint and that is WAY over my mechanical abilities. I was wondering what is a fair price to have a garage do that for me? I don’t want to get ripped off, but then again I want it done right. Any info would be appreciated
