Cloudy rear vinyl window

I just bought this 2011 Wrangler 4 door soft top and the rear windy is very cloudy and hard to see through.
The side windows are fine. Any idea how to clean the rear window?

Haze on soft top vinyl windows is typically caused by wiping them with paper towels, which is highly unadvisable with vinyl windows (or any sort of clear plastic for that matter). Cleaning the haze off isn't easy but it can be done. To do so, I suggest using a plastic window polish from Novus or Meguiar's. These use multiple grades of polish (from coarse to a very fine final polish) to eliminate the haze. Depending on the amount of haze, sometimes a lot of work is required to get rid of it. However, the end result will be windows that look like new.

You can often find them at boating or RV supply stores, seldom in automotive supply stores though.

I used plexus, and it got the fog out.. Good for scratches too

I have also used Plexus on many plastic surfaces to clean and remove scratches. It works great!

I'm not sure it's going to work for extreme cases, but for light haziness it should work.

Having used Plexus for nearly 20 years, it's not a strong enough of a polish to remove a haze making a window cloudy. It's more of a final cleaner with a very mild polish ability. To remove scratches bad enough to form a haze, you need the Novus or Meguiar's multi-step polishes Chris mentioned above.

Never use paper towels on plastic windows, they leave millions of scratches behind that eventually build into a haze which can eventually get so bad it turns the window yellow from sun damage.

I got my rear window fitted up by heritage home design windows and doors a while back and they were cloudy. I used a polish to get rid of the cloudiness. Firstly start by washing the windows with a dish soap and water and then let the window dry.Use a soft cloth to rub the polish all over the window.Then use a fresh soft rag to buff it out, you could even use an electric buffer to make it more easier and less time consuming. Don’t use any cleaning products that contains ammonia because it could cause cloudiness.
