Got my transmission off today, what a mess. The release fork was missing the retaining pin where it clips onto the ball and when I removed the slave the fork fell down off the ball. The TO bearing clip was broken, my valve cover gasket has been leaking and there's oil on the flywheel and clutch. So I'm going to replace the clutch, release fork, ball pivot & clip, TO bearing and clip, pilot bushing and VC gasket. All this was supposedly done 13,000 miles ago by the PO's mechanic. sigh.

The clutch is a LUK and has been working great, I guess I'll go with another LUK as I hear they're popular here. Not sure if mine is actually ruined by the oil but as long as it's apart......

Is the throw out bearing that comes with the LUK 05-065 clutch kit on Amazon OK or should I order a better one?

Clutch disk is ruined , the rest will clean up, get the Luk. I use them in mine and have never had a problem. I like the Felpro valve cover gasket !
