Question if anyone knows the answer?? I'm a moderator on a FB Jeep page ( don't bash me...) and was going through posts and ran across a post about a TJ dying out of the blue...then no crank. Someone posted it could be the coil pack/rail. I thought, NOOOOOO.....has nothing to do with the starter circuit. I confirmed they meant no crank and not no start and they confirmed it was as if the battery was dead....gauges flatlined. They replaced the rail and all is good. How can this be?? There were 2 people that said they had the same issue. Thoughts?? I've been working on cars all my life (and I'm old )and have never seen this.
