Coldest temp started?

Forced to park the 2.4l outside last night and the temperature was -21*F when I left for work, still started right up after a slow crank or two ha. Was not expecting it but damn these TJs have to be one of the most reliable vehicles of their time. I do not have a engine block heater or oil pan heater because i'm planning on moving south in 2 years when I finish college. WHY WOULD ANYONE CHOOSE TO LIVE NORTH!?!? lol

It would be worth your while to get a block heater and put it on a timer .....
Cold starts on any motor/engine are to be avoided if possible.

If you live in a place with a below zero climate at night, I would not be without a block heater, that's for sure. The coldest I ever started mine at was -20 degrees and it was ticking like crazy for the first minute.
