Connector on the multifunction switch

Hi and greetings from Moorpark. Does anyone know the function of the connector with two black wires coming from the back of the multi function switch?

The two wires are Cut on my switch and I’m wondering what is not working that is supposed to be working.

You're talking about the stalk on the steering wheel that has the headlights / fog lights on it?

Without a pic I'm going to guess those two black wires are ground wires.
Do you see a ground bolt, screw, etc nearby?

It is on the multifunction switch that controls the headlights, turn signals etc. It does not appear on wiring diagrams as it is part of the switch according to the dealer parts guy.

@bobthetj03, do you recall what that connector is for? I know you repaired the multi-function switch, as did I. I can't seem to recall what that connector was for, but I know it plugged into something.

I remember unplugging it to take the switch apart, but I don't know what it controls.
