I have to replace the cowl seal on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ because water is leaking into my Jeep from it. I can’t find any videos on how to replace it. Any suggestions please?

Is there any chance that the drain hole that is supposed to drain the water is plugged?
I have a water leak from air intake, but this is because of garbage in the drain hole.
The issue is that water is not even supposed to fill up there, so whether your seal is good or no, it should not matter. The problem is water filling up there, because of drain not working, which creates a small lake over there.
Check out this video.

Before going to the trouble of replacing the cowl seal take a look behind and underneath the dash for signs of moisture and rust indicating a source of the leak. Recently had to do the same search for a leak during heavy rains in FL. I removed the cowl, removed the A/C intake cover to inspect the seal, cleaned out debris and sealed seams and the bolt protrusions. So far no leaks during heavy rain.

What did you use to seal the seams?
